a bit about me

My experience covers just about every aspect of design & every type of client. From branding, illustration & photography, to product development, social media advertising & beyond, I have enjoyed the creative challenge of it all. I am so excited to say I have started my very own design consultant business right here in Murwillumbah, my new home. This town has given me so much already & I can’t wait to give back & work with both locals & those further afield. I approach all the work I do with an open mind & open ears, aiming to truly understand your vision & make it a reality that exceeds your expectations. My intuitive nature & wide range of experience ensures working together will be EZPZ & and enjoyable experience.

As the creative half of a 2 woman business partnership we grew our business from 5 handmade toys to a thriving baby toy brand supplying over 1000 stores both in Australia and overseas, making us a well known brand in the baby gift market. EARTH NYMPH – GOLD COAST QLD – BRAND MANAGER (2009 – 2011)
Earth Nymph creates playful products that are instantly recognisable in the Australian tourism market. My role, as head of the 4 man design section, included developing new ranges & products, illustrations, catalogues, photo shoots, advertising & brochures, branding, packaging & labels. I also working closely with the in house buyers to providing clear speck sheets & traveled to China to attend trade shows & visit suppliers. An important aspect of the brand was in store presence which required me working closely with the sales team to create effective easy to use point of sale and merchandising material.

CAPE BYRON IMPORTS – BYRON BAY – SENIOR DESIGNER (2004 – 2009)
Cape Byron Imports is a leading diving and water-sport supplier throughout Australia, including such brands as Mares Dive, Mirage & Maddog Surf. 

As lead designer I worked closely with all departments including the buyer in developing new products for the range, the sales team to provide all their sales and marketing needs and the manager to create eye catching trade show displays & presentations. As an essential part of a large company for over 5 years, I thoroughly enjoyed working as part of a multi talented team to grow and improve an already thriving business even further

Scancolor is a family run publisher specialising in tourist books, brochures and souvenirs, with an emphasis on high quality design and photography. 

I was the sole designer in the 3 person team for 8 years. Though small we covered the majority of the tourism and accommodation businesses on Phillip Island and along the Great Ocean Road. With clients such as the Penguin Parade, Puffing Billy, Phillip Island Tourism, Flagstaff Hill, Phillip Island Grand Prix & Superbikes. During that time our guides won many tourism awards. My role entailed taking jobs from client brief to printed completion – creating logos, photography, shoot planning, digital retouching, design & press approval. Whatever the job required to create the high quality finished product we had a long standing reputation for.
